Teaser Tuesday (January 5th)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along, just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here’s this week’s. As always, you can click on the cover to go to the Goodreads page for this book.

where it ends

The girl struggles in his grip, but he’s too strong and none too gentle when he drags her over the row of seats. She’s young – a sophomore maybe. Her hair’s escaped from her braid, and her shoulders shake.

  1. This book sounds really good. I think it’s been published at a perfect time, especially in light of the gun violence in the last past years.

I have had this read on my wishlist for a while now and your teaser reminded me I should try to get a copy soon. It sounds like such an interesting read!

Happy reading! Here’s my teaser of Serafina And The Black Cloak by Robert Beatty.

  3. Yikes! Sounds terrifying.
    My Tuesday post features JEWEL.

  4. Yuck! That sounds nasty! I’d have to know more about it before I’d buy that. Here’s my teaser: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-16A

That teaser is very disturbing. I like a thriller though, so just might check this out.
