Bought (Kindle)

Some good deals this week! I’m really excited for Cinder, I’ve heard so many good things about it and the premise sounds so original! The Chimes is also intriguing, and it made the Booker Prize longlist so it’s got to have something going for it. As for The Tea Rose, I’d never heard of this one before but I loved that cover and it’s got some great ratings on Goodreads.

What have you added to your shelves this week? And what would you recommend from the above? Let me know! 🙂

  1. I keep thinking that I must get The Chimes as it does sound like such an interesting read. I keep seeing bloggers talk about the Lunar Chronicles and I’ve now bought the first three books so I hope to get on with them very soon, they sound so good. I hope you enjoy reading Cinder. Happy reading!

Here’s my Stacking the Shelves post:

    • Thanks, I hope you enjoy Cinder and the other books in the series too – fingers crossed for both of us! And yeah I love any dystopian novels and The Chimes just sounds so different to any others out there. Thanks for visiting! 🙂

  2. You have some great books here, because they not just look good but they also sound amazing. Now imagine my TBR growing even more :)) I need a second life just for reading all the books I want. Can’t wait to see what you think of them!

    Happy reading!

  3. Nice haul!! I’ve had “Cinder” sitting on my bookshelves for FAR too long! Gotta start on it, so I can get to “Winter”! Lol.

“The Chimes” and “The Tea Rose” are entirely new to me, but I’ve just checked them out on Goodreads, and have added both.

Thanks so much for sharing!! Hope you enjoy your new books!! : )

  4. I have Cinder sitting on the shelf, but I don’t have time to read it. I hope you like it. Are you more of a Kindle person? I am a new follower via Bloglovin. My blog is called Pondering The Prose.

    • I’m quite a late adapter to the Kindle, got one last Christmas as it just made sense as I had so many eARCs to read. But now I love it, there’s so many great features and deals, plus I save on space in my home! I still love physical books too though. Let’s hope we both enjoy Cinder. Thanks for the visit and follow! 🙂

  5. OMG you have to read Cinder! The first 130 pages were slow for my liking but after that, it got so so so good! I loved it. And Scarlet is even better!
