Teaser Tuesday #25

teaser-tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along, just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here’s mine for this week. As always, you can click on the cover to go to the Goodreads page for this book.

BES

I remember leaving his office that day and thinking it was sad that ordinary, dull people die all the time without ever knowing they are heroes. All because a girl didn’t go under a lake right in front of them, or a neighbour’s house didn’t catch fire.

  2. I remember seeing that cover before. I love black eyed susans, so it’s easy to remember. Sometimes I wonder what the definition of HERO really is.

This sounds interesting, and I love psychological thrillers. I think I’ll add it to my TBR. Great teaser! Here’s mine. Happy reading!

  6. I’ve got this on audio and need to get to it soon.

  7. Interesting Teaser. I’m curious about the deceased hero and what he did that was so heroic. Since I love psychological thrillers, this sounds like a book I’d like.
