Teaser Tuesday #22

teaser-tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along, just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here’s mine for this week. I’m actually still halfway through All The Light We Cannot See as well, but I realised this was due back to the library on Friday and I’d already renewed it for three months (oops), so thought I’d better get on and read it! As always, you can click on the cover to go to the Goodreads page for this book.

The drive went fast; I didn’t pay much attention to it. I was too busy thinking about the dead, and about one dead girl in particular, wearing a beautiful dress, stained red with her own blood.

I have been wanting to read this one. I like the teaser you shared. It certainly captures one’s attention! And I understand about drives going fast when your mind is pre-occupied. 🙂
