Teaser Tuesday #20

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along, just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here’s mine for this week (hope no one is offended by the swearing, but I like the quote.) As always, you can click on the cover to go to the Goodreads page for this book.

The things of the world fell by the wayside, you lost your speed and your eyesight and your fucking Electric Boogaloo, but literature was eternal and that was what was waiting for him: a lost geography as yet seen by no eye but its creator’s. If he didn’t get to see that geography himself until he was seventy, so be it.

He sure can write, can’t he! I really liked this one.

I haven’t read this Stephen King yet, but it sure sounds like an interesting read. Great teaser!

    Here’s mine from Legend.

King is such a talented writer. I may not like all his books, but I do admire his skill and ability to tell a good story.

  4. I love the teaser, and I agree with Literary Feline!
Thanks for sharing and stopping by my blog earlier 🙂

  5. I’ve only read a little bit of Stephen King and haven’t been that fussed with what I did read, but wow, that’s a gorgeous quote.
